2020 Estate Chardonnay
Our 2020 Chardonnay is the second release of our Riverview Vineyard Estate grown Chardonnay. The Chardonnay was hand harvested and whole-cluster pressed, then fermented and aged in a Nomblot 7hL concrete egg-shaped tank (44%), and a combination of new and used French Oak 228L barrels (28%) and new and used Austrian coopered mixed European oak 228L barrels (28%).
The wine is a bright golden yellow with aromas of lemon cream, clarified butter, fresh pineapple, and spice. Full-bodied flavors are balanced with stone fruit and more subtle tropical notes that linger well into the finish.
