2020 Estate Roussanne
The 2020 Roussanne is the second release of our Riverview Vineyard Estate grown Roussanne. The Roussanne was hand harvested and gently whole-cluster pressed, then fermented and aged in a Nomblot 7hL concrete egg-shaped tank (76%) and new French Oak 228L barrels (24%). .
The wine is a bright straw yellow-green in color, there are tropical aromas of green mango and papaya, eventually leading into fresh apricot, saltwater taffy, and herbal notes. Acidity drives this medium-bodied wine with flavors of sweet lime cream, white peach, and pineapple.
