2021 Estate Riverbend Rosé
Fielding Hills Winery has produced this dry and crisp Chinon-style Cabernet Franc Rosé since 2014. All fruit is sourced from our Estate Riverbend Vineyard. We have dedicated 5 rows (0.4 acres) of our Cabernet Franc for Rose wine production, where we intentionally farm the grapes to be made into our Riverbend Rosé.

Tasting notes
Vibrant pale-salmon in color with aromas of ripe strawberries, tart cherry, and sweetened rhubarb. Refreshingly acidic and delicately textured from start to finish with flavors of melon, fresh lingonberry, and dragon fruit.
Production notes
The Riverbend Rosé was hand harvested and transported to the winery for immediate pressing. For the 2021 Rosé, 90% was direct pressed whole-cluster, while 10% was de-stemmed and allowed to rest in tank overnight before being pressed the following day. Fermented and aged in 100% stainless steel at a constant 55F to help retain the fresh fruit flavors and aromas. After fermentation was complete, minimal sulfur was added and the wine was racked clean off of the solids (no lees stirring). The Riverbend Rosé was lightly bentonite fined and sterile filtered prior to bottling.
