2019 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
Our Estate Riverbend Vineyard produces a rich, fruit-forward Cabernet Sauvignon with soft elegant tannins; concentrated and complex from start to finish. The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is more delicate than previous vintages, but still delivers plenty of ripe fruit flavors and palate coating structure.

Tasting notes
Aromas of dark chocolate, dried herb, cedar, and shaved pencil are balanced with ripe currant and dark cherry. Concentrated flavors of black raspberry, plum, and licorice are supported with firm fine-grain tannins.
Production notes
The 2019 vintage was an all-around cooler growing season. Cooler temperatures in the spring delayed bud break and bloom, delaying vine development into the summer. Moderate summer temperatures leading into harvest allowed for slow and even grape maturity, resulting in proper grape physiological maturity at lower than average sugar levels. The finished wines are lighter and more delicate, with lower than average alcohol levels, but are loaded with flavor and elegant tannin.

A handsome red that balances polish and a detailed structure, with black cherry and plum flavors that show tarragon and pencil lead accents as this builds toward fine-grained tannins. Drink now through 2032. 501 cases made.
