2022 Carménère
Not widely known, this gem of a wine is for the fall and winter, grilling flank steak with fried potatoes. If you love wines from Bordeaux, give it a try and we think you'll find it unique and pleasing.
Tasting notes
Rich and layered, with wild herbs, fresh earth, spice, and distant wood smoke. Dark berries and leafy notes unfold on the palate in a calm yet vibrant balance. Like walking a quiet, ancient hillside where the air is cool, the soil alive, and every step invites discovery.
Production notes
Produced in small lot box fermentations. The last pick of the season to hit the crush pad. Hand punch downs, light pressing. Aged in 50% new French oak.
