2025 Estate Riverbend Rosé
Like 70s yacht rock, this wine is all high fidelity. It is clean, expressive, and effortlessly cool.
Tasting notes
Its golden pink sunset hue draws you in, while aromas of strawberry shortcake and sun-dried straw set the scene. Notes of white peach, pink grapefruit, and dried orange peel unfold with an easy, coastal rhythm. It’s the kind of wine made for waterside afternoons, breezy playlists, and a repeat button that never turns off.

Other notes
The 2025 growing season was particularly well in the Wahluke Slope AVA, where its naturally warm, dry, and consistent conditions amplified what was already a smooth, low-stress year. Following a mild winter with little risk of cold damage, budbreak arrived slightly early and progressed evenly into a warm, stable summer marked by the absence of extreme heat spikes. In a region already known as one of the warmest and driest in the state—receiving minimal rainfall and abundant sunlight—these conditions allowed for steady, uninterrupted ripening with very low disease pressure and minimal vine stress. The Wahluke Slope’s uniform sandy soils and reliable irrigation further contributed to highly consistent vine growth and fruit development across sites, reinforcing the appellation’s reputation for predictability and scale. A warm September helped push fruit to full maturity without overripening, and the region’s characteristic diurnal shifts preserved enough acidity to maintain balance despite the heat. The result was an efficient, orderly harvest producing moderately sized crops with strong concentration. Given the AVA’s focus on red varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah, 2025 is expected to yield wines with ripe, full-bodied profiles, rich fruit expression, and structured tannins, reflecting both the vintage’s even conditions and the site’s inherently powerful growing environment.
